Arthur Swann and I attended the Annual General Meeting of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs on the 19th October. It was announced that the date for Drive it Day will be 27th April 2014. This year the one official F.B.H.V.C Drive it Day run started at Gaydon. Next year there will be six starting venues, B.M.I.H.T at Gaydon, Brooklands, The Lakeland Motor Museum, The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Bressingham and Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford. The F.B.H.V.C are asking for volunteers to help with the organising/marshalling of these events.
It was also announced that the heritage open days scheme will operate on 11th, 12th,13th and 14th September 2014.
